Cornerstone OnDemand nominates Sara Martinez Tucker for upcoming election to its Board of Directors

– USA, CA –  Cornerstone OnDemand, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSOD), a global leader in people development solutions, today announced the nomination of Sara Martinez Tucker for election to its Board of Directors at the next AGM to be held on June 8, 2021.

Tucker brings more than 30 years of extensive leadership experience in technology, science, education, and government.

The company also announced that Elisa Steele and Kristina Salen, will not stand for re-election at the annual meeting. Upon the completion of these transitions, the board will include 10 members and will be co-chaired by Richard Haddrill and Cornerstone’s founder, Adam Miller.

About Sara Martinez Tucker

Tucker brings a highly successful and accomplished career in technology, science, education, and government to Cornerstone. Most recently, she served as CEO of the National Math + Science Initiative, an organization focused on improving student performance in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). In 2006, she was nominated and confirmed as the undersecretary at the U.S. Department of Education, where she oversaw all policies, programs, and activities related to postsecondary education, vocational and adult education, and federal student aid. Tucker also spent nine years as the CEO and president of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), where she pursued an aggressive goal to double the rate of Hispanics earning college degrees. Before that, Tucker spent 16 years at AT&T and became the first Latina to reach the company’s executive level, first as the vice president of Consumer Operations and then as the regional vice president for AT&T’s Global Business Communications Systems.

Tucker also has deep board experience. She currently serves on the boards of directors of American Electric Power, Nationwide, and Service Corporation International and serves on the University of Notre Dame’s Board of Fellows and Board of Trustees. She formerly served on the boards of Sprint and Xerox and was formerly the chairman of The University of Texas System Board of Regents.
