Computacenter welcomes Simon McNamara to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, Hatfield –  Computacenter plc (LON: CCC), a leading independent technology and services provider, announced the appointment of Simon McNamara to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

About Simon McNamara

Simon McNamara most recently served for ten years as CAO at Natwest Group, where he led the transformation of its technology and services proposition. He oversaw over 30,000 employees across the UK, EMEA, and India. Before joining Natwest Group, Simon McNamara was CIO of Standard Chartered Bank Consumer Bank, based in Singapore, where he was responsible for developing and implementing the Group Technology and Operations strategy.

Simon McNamara has also held a number of other senior Information Technology and Operations positions in the global financial services industry at Westpac Banking Corporation, Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas, and Midland Bank. He was also a founding partner in a successful software start-up company, CATS INC, in Silicon Valley.
