Columbus Hydraulics adds Joe Wright and Jeff Albright to its Board as Independent Directors and announces CEO Michael Winn to additional role of Chairman

– USA, NE –  Columbus Hydraulics, LLC, a leading, U.S.-based hydraulic cylinder manufacturer, today announced the appointments of Joe Wright and Jeff Albright to its Board as independent directors, effective April 14, 2021, while current CEO and board member Michael Winn step to the additional role of Board Chairman.

June will be our first anniversary in the new facility, our Cheetah Hydraulics line of online-only configurable cylinders launches next month, we are expanding with existing customers, entering new markets, and engineering new products at a rate never before thought possible. Our investors and I are excited about Jeff and Joe’s mix of commercial knowledge and operational know-how, which will most certainly help build on this momentum.”

Joe Wright, CEO of Excel Industries, a leading manufacturer of premium commercial and residential turf equipment with a network of more than 1,200 independent dealers and 25 distributors worldwide. Before joining Excel, Mr. Wright spent over two decades at Briggs & Stratton, serving as President of the Engines Group from 2006 to 2015. As President, he had profit and loss responsibility for a $1.2 billion global engine business, including new product design and manufacturing, North America, China, and India sales. In his time leading up to Briggs, Mr. Wright acquired invaluable operating and manufacturing experience in senior leadership positions at various companies.
