Cobra Resources appoints CEO Rupert Verco to its Board of Directors

– UK, London –  Cobra Resources PLC (LON: COBR), a gold, rare earth, and IOCG exploration company today announced the appointment of current CEO Rupert Verco to the Board of Directors immediately.

“Rupert’s contribution since joining as CEO has been both impressive and integral to positioning Cobra to define a unique multi-mineral resource in South Australia. As we expand our operations and aim to progress in time from exploration to mine development, we look forward to continuing to benefit from Rupert’s experience both as CEO and now as a member of the Board of Directors,” said Board Chairman, Greg Hancock.

About Rupert Verco

Rupert Verco is a mining specialist with over 15 years of experience in Australia and internationally. About Cobra

Cobra is defining a unique multi-mineral resource at the Wudinna Project in South Australia’s Gawler Craton, a tier one mining and exploration jurisdiction that hosts several world-class mines. Cobra’s Wudinna tenements, totaling 3,261 km2, contain extensive orogenic gold mineralization and are characterized by potentially open-pitiable, high-grade gold intersections, with ready access to infrastructure. Cobra has 22 orogenic gold targets outside a current 211,000 Oz JORC Mineral Resource Estimate. In 2021, Cobra discovered rare earth mineralization proximal to and above gold mineralization. The grades, style of mineralogy, and intersect widths are highly desirable while the mineralization has been demonstrated to be regionally scalable. The Company is also advancing a pipeline of IOCG targets.
