– UK, Uxbridge – Coats Group plc (LON: COA), the world’s leading industrial thread and footwear components manufacturer, announced the appointment of Srinivas Phatak to its Board as a Non-Executive Director, effective 1 September 2024.

Srinivas Phatak is currently the Deputy CFO and Group Controller for Unilever PLC.
Srinivas Phatak has more than 28 years of experience in the consumer products industry, working in the US, Europe, LATAM, and India. During 2017 and 2021, Srinivas was CFO and Executive Director of Hindustan Unilever Limited; a Unilever subsidiary listed in India with a market capitalization of over € 60bn. His other Unilever experiences include heading financial shared services, leading finance for supply chains in the Americas, large-scale M&A (including integration), and heading global treasury operations for Asia.
