Click Therapeutics adds Lee Shapiro to its Board of Directors alongside Dr. Muzammil Mansuri named Board Chair

– USA, NY –  Click Therapeutics, Inc., a leader in Digital Therapeutics as prescription medical treatments, today announced the appointment of accomplished digital healthcare executive Lee Shapiro to its Board of Directors, while former biopharmaceutical executive Dr. Muzammil Mansuri has expanded his role with his appointment as Board Chair.

The company also announced that Wall Street veteran Randall Stanicky has joined as CFO.

These additions further position the organization for continued growth and advancing its mission to develop and commercialize software as treatments.

About Lee Shapiro

Lee Shapiro joins Click’s Board of Directors and will serve as chair of the audit committee. He is Managing Partner at 7wireVentures, an investment firm he co-founded over a decade ago. He recently served as CFO of Livongo Health until their successful $18.5B merger with Teladoc. Before Livongo, Mr. Shapiro was President of Allscripts from 2001 until the end of 2012. He has also served on the Board of Directors of leading health technology companies such as Medidata, ConsejoSano, Medisafe, HomeThrive, and other 7wire portfolio companies. He is a member of the National Board of Directors of the American Heart Association, where he chairs the audit committee and serves on the business operations committee.

About Dr. Muzammil Mansuri

Dr. Muzammil Mansuri has expanded his role from Senior Strategic Advisor to Click’s Board to Chair of the Board. With over three decades of comprehensive experience in senior roles within the global biopharmaceutical industry, Dr. Mansuri’s deep knowledge of therapeutic and digital approaches to patient care is key as Click advances an industry-leading digital therapeutics pipeline. Dr. Mansuri currently serves as a Partner at F-Prime Capital. Before joining F-Prime, Dr. Mansuri was a member of the Executive Committee at Sanofi, as EVP, Strategy, Business Development, and Licensing. Before this, he was at Gilead Sciences as SVP, Research, and Development Strategy and Business Development. In that capacity, he led the R&D Strategy, Business Development, and M&A activities for the company. Dr. Mansuri has served as CEO of several biotech companies and as a General Partner at Flagship Ventures. He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry as a bench medicinal chemist with Bristol Myers.

Board Chair Dr. Mansuri said, “Clinically validated digital therapeutics are the real solutions needed to improve patients’ health outcomes beyond what we have been able to achieve with pharmacotherapy alone. He received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in chemistry from the University College London and conducted postdoctoral research at UCLA and Columbia University.

Randall Stanicky joins as CFO with more than 20 years of extensive industry experience and most recently leading RBC Capital Markets’ large-cap, specialty, and generic pharmaceuticals team. Randall Stanicky brings the focused financial leadership necessary to expand Click’s clinical and commercial reach. Before RBC, Stanicky spent the majority of his Wall Street career in a similar role at Goldman Sachs. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and sits on the Board of Directors at the Children’s Tumor Foundation where he serves as an officer and chair of the audit committee.
