– UK, London – CleanTech Lithium PLC (LON: CTL), an exploration and development company advancing sustainable lithium projects in Chile, announced the appointment of Paul Atherton to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect.
About Paul Atherton
Paul Atherton is an experienced public company director and Chartered Accountant, and brings considerable financial expertise to the Board. After graduating in Geology from Imperial College, London, he transitioned to a financial career, er qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte & Touche. He worked in corporate finance at BDO Stoy Hayward and then a number of resource companies focused on sub-Saharan Africa before joining Heritage Oil as CFO, and then CEO and Executive Director. After 18 years with Heritage Oil, he left to develop his interests as an angel investor and board director in a diversified portfolio of businesses, including natural resources, technology, and healthcare. Mr Atherton will also assume the role of Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Board.
