– USA, CA – Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) today announced the appointment of current EVP of Strategy, Policy & Development, Mark Nelson as Vice-Chairman, effective February 1, 2023.
Mark Nelson will continue leading the company’s Strategy & Sustainability, Corporate Affairs, and Business Development functions, and take on additional corporate responsibilities.

Mark Nelson previously served as EVP of Downstream & Chemicals, VP of Midstream, Strategy & Policy, and VP of Corporate Strategic Planning.
