– UK, Macclesfield – Bodycote plc (LON: BOY) today announced the appointment of Cynthia Gordon to its Board as Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 June 2022.
Cynthia Gordon will also join the Remuneration, Nomination, and Audit committees.
About Cynthia Gordon
Cynthia Gordon is an experienced international public company Chair and Non-Executive Director. She has more than 20 years of experience in the telecoms and digital industries and is a marketeer by background. Cynthia is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of Frankfurt-listed Global Fashion Group (e-commerce fashion retailer) and a Non-Executive Director of Paris-listed Eutelsat Communications SA (global satellite operator).
Cynthia Gordon, a graduate in Business Studies from the University of Brighton, began her career at Unilever, before moving to Lloyds Bank. She spent 10 years at Orange – France Telecom, where she held the positions of VP Business Marketing and VP Partnerships & Emerging Markets. She was also Group Chief Commercial Officer at Ooredoo Group, operating across MENA and Asia, and also former CEO of Millicom Africa, a telecom and media company with over 51 million customers in Africa and Latin America. She has also been a Board Member of Kinnevik AB.
