Rick Vanzura currently serves as the CEO of Boston-area restaurant concepts Wahlburgers Holdings Corporation and Alma Nove. Vanzura joins a world-class board of directors which includes the former CEO of Reebok and one of the founding team members of LinkedIn.
As Wahlburgers Inc.’s CEO, Vanzura has helped expand the company from one to approximately 100 units under development agreements. Vanzura’s experience in aiding the growth of companies and leadership is extensive, having previously served as the Executive Vice President and Co-COO of Panera Bread overseeing marketing, real estate and business development. He also served as President of multiple divisions as well as head of strategy and business development for Borders Group, formerly the world’s second largest book, music and media retailer. In his previous role as Chief Strategy Officer for General Motors, Vanzura oversaw Internet business development and IT strategy for the Fortune 500 company.
