BioLife Solutions announces Rod de Greef to join its Board of Directors after stepping down as COO

– USA, WA –  BioLife Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLFS), a leading supplier of class-defining bioproduction tools and services for the cell and gene therapy and broader biopharma markets, today announced the appointment of current President and COO Rod de Greef to its Board of Directors, after he will retire from the executive management, effective as of January 3, 2023.

Rod de Greef has served BioLife for 22 years as a board member and an executive officer since 2016. de Greef served as CFO from 2016 to 2021 and postponed his previously announced retirement in December 2021 to assume the COO role, focusing on key operational improvement initiatives related to the Company’s acquisition of Global Cooling, Inc.
