– JERSEY, St. Helier – Aseana Properties (LON: ASPL), a property developer in Malaysia which is listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, today announced the appointment of Hock Chye Tan to its Board as an Independent Director with immediate effect.
Hock Chye Tan has also joined the Audit Committee.
About Hock Chye Tan
Mr. Tan who is based in Malaysia is a Chartered Global Management Accountant of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
He obtained an MBA from Oklahoma City University and has attended a Harvard Premier Management Program. He also holds a Diploma in Commerce from TAR University College.
He has worked in Papua New Guinea, Singapore, and Malaysia in both private and public companies and held senior management and Board positions. Currently, he is the CFO of SEATech Ventures Corp., a start-up company listed on the US OTC Pink Market. He is also the National Assistant Treasurer of the SME Association of Malaysia and Treasurer of the Malaysia Cross Border E-Commerce Association.
