ASA International announces Karin Kersten as next CEO alongside Dirk Brouwer stepping to Deputy Chairman

– NETHERLANDS, Amsterdam –  ASA International Group plc (LON: ASAI), one of the world’s largest international microfinance institutions, today announced the appointment of current Executive Director, Corporate Development, Karin Kersten, as the next CEO, effective from AGM on 15 June 2023, to succeed Co-Founder Dirk Brouwer who will step aside as CEO but will be appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Board of ASA International.

“The Board of Directors is confident that Karin is going to be an excellent successor, who will be able to further strengthen and expand the Company going forward,” said Board Chairman, Guy Dawson.
