About Asif Y. Jakwani
Asif Jakwani most recently served as SVP and GM of On Semiconductor Corporation from February 2020 until March 2024. As GM of the Advanced Power Division, he was responsible for all power discrete modules for Onsemi including silicon carbide. During his seventeen-year career at Onsemi, Asif Jakwani held various positions with increasing responsibilities. Before joining Onsemi in 2007, he held marketing and design engineering roles with Tyco Electronics Power Systems and Current Technology, Inc., a subsidiary of Danaher Corporation.

Asif Jakwani holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Lamar University, a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin,n and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
