Altran Group announces Dominique Cerutti to its Board of Directors as upcoming Chairman and CEO

– FRANCE, Paris – On the recommendation of its Appointment and Remuneration committee, the Board of Directors of Altran has approved the upcoming appointment of Dominique Cerutti as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Altran group. Mr Cerutti will begin his duties on 29 July 2015.

An Extraordinary General Meeting will be called in the near future so that Dominique Cerutti can be elected to the Board of Directors and can fully exercise his new duties as of 29 July 2015.

Dominique Cerutti is currently the Chairman of the Managing Board and Chief Executive Officer of Euronext, a multinational company he successfully led to its Initial Public Offering. An engineer by training, he will join Altran with solid international management experience.

Dominique Cerutti spent over 20 years at IBM where he contributed, from the United States, to the company’s strategic transformation. He served as Chief Executive Officer of IBM Global Services for Europe Middle East Africa (60,000 staff and €12bn revenues), then of IBM in Europe. He served as Chief Operating Officer and was a member of the Board of Directors of the NYSE Euronext group, before becoming Chairman of the Managing Board of the Euronext group, which is now independent.

Dominique Cerutti has a comprehensive global vision with a proven track record of achieving transformation and growth. He is a seasoned veteran in the management of large-scale service organisations.

To ensure the most effective transition until the arrival of Dominique Cerutti, the Board of Directors of the Altran group has asked Olivier Aldrin, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, to serve as the Group’s interim CEO, and Gilles Rigal, a current member of the Board, to serve as Chairman.
