– IRELAND, Dublin – AIB Group plc and Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. (LON: AIBG) announced the appointment of Anne Sheehan to the Board as an independent non-executive Director with immediate effect.
About Anne Sheehan
Anne Sheehan is GM of Enterprise Commercial for Europe North at Microsoft, having held the role of CEO of Microsoft Ireland from 2021 to 2023. She has extensive industry-based experience in technology in Ireland, Europe, and the US. She is focused on driving digital transformation, together with good customer outcomes and operational efficiency.
Anne Sheehan commenced her professional career at IBM and moved to Vodafone, where she held leadership roles including Director of Vodafone Business UK (2017-2021) and Director of Vodafone Business (Enterprise) Ireland (2013-2017).
