Dr. Giulia Kennedy is a prolific research, product, and clinical development executive with over 20 years of experience propelling novel diagnostic technologies from early-phase research to commercialization and adoption. She most recently served as global CSO and CMO at Veracyte, a cancer genetics company focused on treatment planning and prognostics in various cancers. There, she oversaw a worldwide team of research and development, medical affairs, data science, and clinical affairs professionals to fuel research and the development of the company’s genomic and other diagnostic tests. She has been involved with Veracyte’s development and growth since its inception. Before joining Veracyte, Dr. Kennedy was at Affymetrix, where she accelerated the commercialization of the company’s platform into multiple emerging markets.
