– UK, Somerset – Actual Experience plc (LON: ACT), the Digital Workplace Management Systems provider, today announced the appointment of Richard Steele to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, with effect from 29 June 2022.

Richard brings a combination of skills to Actual; commercial acumen in high-growth digital companies, as well as an AIM background with investor relations and fundraising experience. His expertise will strengthen the Board and is particularly pertinent as we work to scale up the business.” said Board Chair, Kirsten English.
Concurrently, Sir Bryan Carsberg announced his retirement from the Board on 30 September 2022.
Mr. Steele will also join the Audit Committee as Chair and the Remuneration and Nomination Committees as a member.
About Richard Steele
Richard Steele has over 30 years of experience in commercial and operational finance roles in the professional services and consumer sectors, including 15 years in board-level roles. Richard Steele is currently CFO of Skillcast plc and was previously CFO of Mind Gym plc from its AIM admission in 2018 until the end of 2021. Before this, Richard Steele held a series of senior finance roles in the consumer sector and is a qualified accountant.
