– UK, Edinburgh – abrdn Asia Focus plc (LON: AAS) today announced the appointment of Alex Finn to its Board as an independent non-executive Director, effective from 13 July 2022.
Alex Finn will also join the Audit Committee as Chairman.

About Chairman
Chairman was a partner for 27 years in PwC’s global financial services practice, retiring on 30 June 2022. During his career at PwC, Mr. Finn was responsible for the services that PwC provided internationally to a number of its largest global clients, all of which had extensive operations in Asia. He was also responsible for supporting clients in large-scale accounting and financial change programs. He was PwC’s EMEA insurance leader, sat on its EMEA FS leadership team, and led several of PwC’s most extensive global audit engagements.
Mr. Finn is currently a director of Cembra Money Bank AG, which is listed on the SIX in Switzerland.
