BREA, Calif., – The Wurth Group of North America is pleased to announce that Vito Mancini has been selected as the next President and CEO of Wurth Louis and Company, headquartered in Brea, California. Mr. Mancini will be only the third President in the company’s 38 years of existence and will begin his new role on July 1st, 2013. He follows Tom Mauss, who after 12 years as President of the company, has accepted the role of President and CEO of the North American Machinery Division of The Wurth Group.
Mr. Mancini has been with Wurth Louis and Company for 6 years. Most recently he was the Chief Operating Officer of the company, responsible for the Sales and Operations of the 19 locations throughout the Western United States.
Robert Stolz, President of Wurth North America stated, “We are so incredibly pleased that Vito has accepted this new challenge. He is definitely the right person to move Wurth Louis and Company along into the future. He and his management team are brimming with new and innovative ideas, and look forward to hitting the ground running on July 1st.” Stolz went on to say, “I am equally excited about Tom stepping in to the new role of President of our new North American Machinery Division. This is something that Tom and I have been discussing, even prior to the financial crisis, but the idea was shelved while we navigated through the crisis. We resumed the conversation after the first of the year, and as usual, Tom has taken the ball and is running with it. We will have plenty more to say about this initiative in the very near future.”
Mr. Mancini commented on his new position, “I am pleased and honored to have been asked to lead this wonderful company. We have an exceptionally talented team, and I look forward to continuing Tom’s great work, especially as we expand the many channels of the business. I also look forward to working more closely with Robert and the other Wurth companies in North America.”
The transition for both Mr. Mancini and Mr. Mauss takes effect, July 1st, 2013.
