Water Intelligence announces Bobby Knell to its Board of Directors

– UK, London / USA, CA –  Water Intelligence plc (LON:WATR), a leading multinational provider of precision, minimally-invasive leak detection and remediation solutions for both potable and non-potable water, today announced that Bobby Knell will replace John Weigold as a director on the board pending regulatory checks.

Mr. Knell has been serving as a managing director at Water Intelligence responsible for franchise relations for the last four years. Prior to this role, Mr. Knell founded and grew the Dallas franchise of American Leak Detection into a multimillion dollar operation; an operation now run by his son. This promotion is an indication of the strong alignment of interests between corporate operations and the growing American Leak Detection franchise business.

Water Intelligence’s growth strategy is to both grow its American Leak Detection franchise system through national sales channels like insurance and, at the same time, execute selective reacquisitions of franchises and turn them into fast growing corporate operations that also reinforce franchise growth. Mr. Knell’s stature in the franchise system will enhance the Company’s ability to accelerate its growth strategy. We appreciate Mr. Weigold’s service at the board level. John will continue to assist the Company at an operational level.
