– UK, Maidenhead – The Rank Group Plc (LON: RNK) today announced the appointment of Chew Seong Aun to its Board as a non-executive director, effective immediately.

About Chew Seong Aun
Chew Seong Aun is Executive Director and the Group CFO of Guoco Group Limited. He joined Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad, GGL’s associated company listed on Bursa Malaysia, as CFO in 2006. Seong Aun has been the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Hong Leong Asset Management Berhad, a subsidiary of HLFG, since 2013 and Chairman of HLAM’s Board since 2017. Before joining the Hong Leong Group, Seong Aun held various senior banking positions in the UK and Asia. He was appointed Group CFO of GGL on 1 November 2020.
Seong Aun obtained a Bachelor of Science (Eng) degree in Civil Engineering (Honours) from Imperial College, University of London and is an ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) qualified Chartered Accountant. He is also a Chartered Banker of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers in Malaysia. He has more than 30 years’ experience in finance and banking.
