Sanne Group appoints Julia Chapman to its Board as Independent Director

– JERSEY, St Helier – Sanne Group PLC (LSE:SNN), a leading global provider of alternative asset and corporate administration services, announces that Julia Chapman will join the board of the Company as an independent Non-Executive Director from 1 July 2018.

Julia has extensive experience of the global alternative assets industry and is a partner at Altair. She is a Non-Executive Director of Henderson Far East Income Limited, an Asia Pacific focused investment trust, GCP Infrastructure Investments Limited (“GCP Infra”), an investment trust investing in debt secured against UK infrastructure projects, and BH Global Limited, a listed hedge fund trading positions in global fixed income and foreign exchange markets. All (excluding Altair) are listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, with GCP Infra a constituent of the FTSE 250. Julia is a solicitor qualified in England and Wales and Jersey and sits on the committee of the Jersey Funds Association.

The Board has also commenced a search for a new non-executive director based in the Benelux region. With SANNE’s increased presence and opportunities in that region, the Board has concluded that such an addition to the Board will be of great benefit.

Further, following the announcement on 22 March 2018, the Board today announces that James Ireland has now joined the Group and he too joins the Board, formally taking up the role as Chief Financial Officer effective from 1 July 2018. Spencer Daley will move into his new role as the Group Head of M&A and Strategy on the same day.

It is anticipated that Spencer will remain on the plc Board for a short period of time whilst the Group continues its search for a new non-executive director in the Benelux. This is to ensure that the Group remains compliant with the requirements of its Articles of Association regarding the number of non-UK-resident directors on the plc Board. It is intended that Spencer will step down from the Board at such time as the new non-executive is appointed.

Rupert Robson, Chairman, said: “We are delighted that Julia is joining the SANNE board. She brings substantial offshore financial and regulatory services experience. Her successful career as an Executive and Non-Executive in alternatives adds further valuable experience and balance to our board.”

SANNE provides administration, reporting and fiduciary services to leading alternative asset managers, financial institutions, family offices and corporates.
The Group employs more than 1,000 people worldwide and administers structures and funds that have in excess of £160 billion of assets.
The Group has a presence in 15 established strategic locations spread across the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific.
SANNE is listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.
