Ranger AeroSystems added Randy Dobbs to its Board of Directors

– USA, SC – Ranger AeroSystems LLC, a private equity consolidator specializing in aerospace components and interiors overhaul services, has added Randy Dobbs to its Board of Directors. This is Ranger’s newest platform for pursuing investments and acquisitions in the aerospace industry. Mr. Dobbs brings a wealth of industry experience to this Board, from many years with General Electric and in Private Equity-backed enterprises.

Over the course of his 3-decades career, Randy Dobbs has risen from an entry level position on the floor of a manufacturing plant to top leadership positions in the manufacturing, national security, and healthcare industries. He has been a Senior Operating Executive with private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe for the past several years. Prior to that, he served as President and CEO of a $750 million national security and employment screening corporation. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dobbs was President and Chief Executive Officer for Philips Medical Systems, North America, where he oversaw a field sales and service organization of more than 5,500 people with revenues in excess of $3.3 billion focused on providing service solutions to private, public, and government institutions. Before Philips Medical, Mr. Dobbs was President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital’s large IT Solutions Division, where he was honored with General Electric’s “Turnaround Business of the Year Award.” During his GE career, he also served as an Officer of the global GE Corporation. A distinguished graduate of many of GE’s internationally recognized business development programs, Mr. Dobbs also holds a degree from Arkansas State University. He is the author of Transformational Leadership: A Blueprint for Real Organizational Change, which details Mr. Dobbs’ proven strategic business tools and transformational leadership ideas to create a business environment characterized by operational excellence, financial performance, and overall growth.
