Powerhouse Energy welcomes Prof. Karol Kacprzak to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Bingley –  Powerhouse Energy Group plc (LON: PHE), the UK company pioneering integrated technology that converts non-recyclable waste into low-carbon energy, today announced the appointment of Prof. Karol Michal Kacprzak to its Board as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

“I am delighted that Karol has been able to join the board. His expertise will complement the range of skills of the existing directors on what is effectively a new board for the Company. As well as the contribution he can make through his technical knowledge and experience, he will also undoubtedly be able to assist us in Poland, which is an exciting developing market for Powerhouse.” said Board Chairman, Tony Gardner-Hillman.

About Prof. Karol Michal Kacprzak

Prof. Kacprzak is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry at Adam Mickiewiez Univerisity in Poznan, Poland, and has over 20 years of academic experience. At Adam Mickiewiez Univerisity he was awarded a Ph.D. with distinction in Organic Chemistry and an MSc in Environmental Chemistry.

Prof. Kacprzak is an organic and medicinal chemistry expert, actively collaborating with the chemical industry, and a Polish Chemical Society member. Between 2016 and 2020 Prof. Kacprzak acted as the CEO of Stomil-Poznan S.A., a State-owned tyre and rubber manufacturer in Poland.
