Oxford Biomedica appoints Namrata Patel to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, Oxford –  Oxford Biomedica plc (LON: OXB), a leading gene and cell therapy group, today announced the appointment of Namrata Patel to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

About Namrata P Patel

Namrata Patel has extensive international experience in manufacturing and end-to-end Supply Chain with experience in the commercialized regulated industry. She is currently SVP, Product Supply, within the Global Beauty Sector at Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG), a US-listed, multi-national consumer goods business, having joined the company 25 years ago. Ms. Patel has held senior positions across several major global markets and plays a key role in delivering on Procter & Gamble’s 2040 Sustainability Ambition Goals for its Beauty Business portfolio.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Patel has worked at several major multi-national corporations, holding senior positions at Gillette, WH Smith, and Coca-Cola, with a strong focus on international supply chain management. She holds a master’s in Logistics and Management from the Cranfield School of Management, and a BA in Public Administration & Marketing from the University of South Wales, Mid Glamorgan.
