– USA, IL – Navigant Consulting, Inc. (NYSE:NCI) today announced that Life sciences and pharmaceutical professional, Mark J. Stevens has joined as a managing director in its life sciences practice.
Stevens will help lead Navigant’s global life sciences strategy consulting and data analytics team, and assist with creating centers of excellence focusing on patient services, operations, and pharmacovigilance. He brings more than 20 years of large and small pharmaceutical company experience leading strategy, operations, marketing, and sales analytics and technology.
According to Eduardo Schur, managing director and leader of Navigant’s global life sciences practice, “The complexity of the global life sciences market continues to accelerate. Mark will work with some of the largest pharmaceutical and medical device organizations around the world to build insightful and value-based solutions supporting planning, strategy, and execution. Stevens previously served as chief strategy officer at Publicis Health, where he was responsible for the development and execution of strategic initiatives in all program areas of Publicis Health Solutions. He also served in multiple leadership roles in commercial effectiveness at Novartis, Bristol Myers Squibb, Sanofi, and Schering Plough. Stevens holds a Master of Science in management systems with specialization in advanced analytics from Clarkson University, and an MBA with specialization in marketing and a Bachelor of Science in biology from University of Madras.
