Kainos Group announces James Kidd to join its Board as Independent Director

– UK, Belfast –  Kainos Group plc (LON: KNOS), an IT provider with expertise across Digital Services, Workday Services, and Workday Products, today announced the appointment of James Kidd to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director effective from 01 October 2023.

As a director and a key member of the executive management team at AVEVA, James was instrumental in the growth of the company, which saw a six-fold increase during his tenure. James’ experience will be invaluable as we continue our growth and development. The rest of the board and I look forward to working with him when he joins in October.” said CEO, Brendan Mooney.

James Kidd will also join the Audit & Risk Committee.

Having joined AVEVA Group plc in 2004, James Kidd was appointed to the board in 2011 and held the roles of CFO, Deputy CEO, and CEO. During his time on the board, AVEVA grew to over 6,500 people globally, with revenues of £1.2 billion. James stepped down from AVEVA in February 2023 following the acquisition of the company by Schneider Electric at an enterprise valuation of £10.6 billion.
