Infinis Energy announces Tom Hinton to its Board of Directors as upcoming CFO

– UK, Northampton – Infinis Energy plc today announces its intention to appoint Tom Hinton to the board as Chief Financial Officer following the retirement of Gordon Boyd from Infinis. Tom will join from Centrica Energy, where he has been Chief Financial Officer (Centrica Energy Canada) since 2013 following 10 years in other finance roles within Centrica. Gordon Boyd will remain Chief Financial Officer until Tom formally joins the Infinis board in late November 2015.

Since joining Infinis in 2012, Gordon has played a key role in helping to steer the Company through its IPO on the London Stock Exchange in 2013 and in ensuring the delivery of its growth plans. Gordon has informed the board of his intention to step down to pursue other interests but will remain with the company until early 2016 to ensure an orderly transition.
