– UK – Greene King plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Rowley to the board as a non-executive director with effect from 18 July 2014. He will also become a member of the audit and nomination committees.
Rob is currently the senior independent non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee at Taylor Wimpey plc and chairman of the audit committees of Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC and Morgan Advanced Materials PLC. He was formerly at Reuters Group plc where he held various roles including that of finance director.
Tim Bridge, chairman of Greene King, said: ‘We look forward to welcoming Rob to our board and believe that his background and experience will be a great asset to us’.
This appointment brings the number of non-executives to six, including the chairman.
