Glenwick announces Dr Jaap Poll and Amanda Van Dyke to the Board as Non-Executive Directors

– ISLE OF MAN, Douglas – Glenwick (AIM:GWIK), is pleased to announce the following changes to its board of directors, which are effective immediately.

Dr Jacob Jan Kornelis (‘Jaap’) Poll and Amanda Bianca Nicole Marziliano Van Dyke are joining the Board as non-executive directors.

Dr Poll, who has been advising the Company as a technical consultant since 30 March 2016, holds a BSc, MSc, and a PhD in Structural Geology from the University of Leiden in Holland, and has been working in the petroleum industry since 1966. He has held a number of technical and executive positions with the likes of Shell and Woodside, and has been chief executive officer, adviser to and a Board member of a number of small and medium sized oil and gas companies, most notably Oil Search, Petroz NL, Otto Energy, and Anzoil.

Dr Poll’s 46-year petroleum exploration and production management career has spanned the globe, including the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia. Dr Poll is a certified professional member of the American Association of Petroleum Geology (AAPG) and a Distinguished Member of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia.

Amanda Van Dyke is joining the Board as a non-executive director. Amanda is currently a non-executive director of Paternoster Resources plc and a specialist fund manager at Peterhouse Asset Management. Amanda has previously worked for Dundee Securities, Ocean Equities and GMP as a mining specialist in equity sales. She has an MBA and an MA in international economics from SDA Bocconi. Amanda is also the chairman of Women in Mining (UK), sponsored by Rio Tinto, Anglo American and Glencore.

Further, Cameron Pearce has resigned as a director of the Company to pursue other business interests.

Graham Smith and Sam Quinn, as continuing directors of the Company, made the following statement: “We would like to thank Cameron Pearce for his contribution to the Company since it became a cash shell in late 2015. We are delighted to welcome Jaap and Amanda, and look forward to working with them in implementing the Company’s investing policy.”
