– UK, Exeter – Flybe Group plc (LSE:FLYB) today announced the appointment of Liz McMeikan as Senior Independent Director with effect from the close of the Annual General Meeting on 13th September 2018.
Liz has been an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company since 2014 and is a member of the Nomination, Audit, the Safety and Security Committees, and Chair of the Remuneration Committee. She takes over from David Kappler who is stepping down following the conclusion of the AGM.
Flybe also announces that Heather Lawrence will become the Chair of the Audit Committee with effect from the close of the AGM on 13th September 2018, taking over from David Kappler. Heather joined the board as an independent Non-Executive Director in May this year with a background in finance and investment banking and is a qualified accountant.
