– UK – Environmental Recycling Technologies plc (AIM: ENRT), the patent rights holder to the Powder Impression Moulding (“PIM”) process which is capable of converting mixed waste plastics into commercially viable products, is pleased to announce that it has appointed John Mayfield as an Executive Director with immediate effect.
John Michael Mayfield, aged 50, is joining ERT from Avincis Group where he led a Finance & Operations re-structuring project for London & the Americas. Prior to this he was CFO at Arian Silver Corporation, the AiM listed junior miner and Group CFO at W3 Ltd. John brings significant experience in technology and international businesses, is ACCA & CIMA qualified, and holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
The appointment of John Mayfield is as a precursor to taking over the role of Finance Director from David Shepley-Cuthbert in the New Year.
Commenting on the announcements, Lee Clayton, Managing Director of ERT, said: “John’s appointment completes our current reorganisation of the executive board of ERT as we focus the Group on the next phase of our international development. John’s experience of AiM and in international markets further strengthens the Board, as we roll out our international licensing for PIM.”
