– UK, Sutton Coldfield – Dignity plc (LON: DTY), the UK’s only listed provider of funeral related services, today announced the appointment of John Castagno to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Chairman with effect from 23 July 2021, succeeding Gary Channon who stands down as Executive Chairman to become CEO.

John will initially serve on the Audit, Remuneration, and Nomination Committees.
About John Castagno
John Castagno is an experienced Non-Executive Director with extensive experience in support industries and the financial services sector. John is skilled in both business planning and business development. He is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Post Office Insurance. John is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
