About Heather Mason
Heather has significant international healthcare experience leading fully integrated global businesses. Previously she spent 27 years with Abbott Laboratories where she held a number of global senior operational and strategic leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Abbott Diabetes Care and most recently Executive Vice President of Abbot Nutrition. She retired from Abbot Laboratories in 2017.
Heather is currently a Non-Executive Director of Assertio Therapeutics, Inc., the Nasdaq listed speciality pharmaceutical company focused on providing responsible solutions to advance patient care in the areas of neurology, orphan and speciality medicines. She is also Co-Chair of the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering Innovation Committee and a member of its Leadership Advisory Board.
