Clinipace Worldwide adds Fred Davenport to its Board of Directors

– USA, NC – Clinipace Worldwide a global, digital clinical research organization (dCRO), today announced the addition of industry veteran Fred B. Davenport, Jr., to its Board of Directors.

As an independent director, Fred brings to Clinipace a significant pedigree in scaling global organizations within the CRO industry, having spent 10 years at Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc. (PPD) during its rapid growth phase, followed by 6 years on the Board of Directors for Medpace, Inc. At PPD, Fred served in various roles, including General Counsel, Executive Vice President, and President. During that time, he was responsible for global operations and numerous support functions, including Phase 1-4 clinical operations in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, global laboratory services, quality management, intellectual technology, strategic development, human resources, facilities, purchasing, and legal.

As a partner with Murchison, Taylor & Gibson, PLLC in Wilmington, NC, Fred now focuses his legal practice on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate representation.

Fred earned his BA, JD and MBA degrees from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a member of the North Carolina state bar as well as a member of the New Hanover County, North Carolina and American Bar Associations.
