The AFC Energy alkaline fuel cell affords many advantages compared to its peers in the market today and I very much look forward to working with the executive and scientific teams in taking the business forward to commercial success.”

Lisa Jordan and Percy Hayball, both representatives of Ervington Investments Limited, have decided to step down from the Board with immediate effect. The decision to step down reflects the progress made by AFC Energy technically over the past few years following the ongoing support and contributions afforded to the Company by Ervington and its respective directors since its initial investment in 2012.

John Rennocks, Chairman of AFC Energy, said: “We are delighted to welcome Gerry onto the Board of AFC Energy. Gerry brings an extremely high caliber of commercial and technological acumen to the business and reflects the state of our Company that we can attract such talent. I would also like to thank Lisa and Percy for their contributions in assisting the Company since their joining the Board in 2016 and 2018 respectively. They both, alongside Ervington, have been, and continue to be, great supporters of AFC Energy and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”
