Yorkshire Water Services appoints Pamela Doherty to its Board as new Director of Service Delivery

– UK, Bradford – Yorkshire Water Services Limited today announces that Charlie Haysom has resigned from the Board of Yorkshire Water as Director of Service Delivery with effect from close of business on 12 September 2017, having assumed a new role within the business as Director of AMP7 Business Readiness. Pamela Doherty, having previously held the role of Managing Director of Kelda Water Services, has succeeded Charlie as Director of Service Delivery and been appointed to the Board as an executive director with effect from 13 September 2017.

These changes have been made to respond to business needs, ensuring that the executive team continues to have the skills and experience necessary to deliver a successful price review, the portfolio of transformation projects underway and great service to our customers.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank and commend Charlie for his valued service as a director of the Company with the confidence that in his new role he will continue to make a very positive contribution to business performance in readiness for AMP7.

In addition it is announced that Scott Auty, Andrew Dench and Michael Osborne have been appointed as non-executive directors on the Board of Yorkshire Water with effect from 13 September 2017. Each are currently non-executive directors on the Board of Kelda Holdings Limited, the ultimate parent of Yorkshire Water.

Scott Auty is a Director of Deutsche Asset Management’s infrastructure business, Europe, based in London. He started his career at N M Rothschild & Sons’ investment banking division where he was a specialist in the Utilities and Natural Resources sectors.

Andrew Dench is a Senior Vice President in GIC’s Infrastructure team, based in London and is responsible for the ongoing management of GIC’s global infrastructure portfolio. He is a non-executive director on the boards of TIGF (Gas Transportation and Storage, France), Duquesne Light and Power (Electricity Transportation and Distribution, US) and Greenko (Renewal Generation, India).

Michael Osborne is a Principal at Corsair Infrastructure Management, a business unit of Corsair Capital. He is also a director of Itínere Infraestructuras, S.A., a toll road operator in Spain.
