– UK, Cambridge – Xaar plc (LSE:XAR), a world leader in industrial inkjet technology, announces changes to Board responsibilities following the retirement of Phil Lawler, after nine years of service as Chairman, on 30 September 2016. As announced at the 2015 full year results, Robin Williams, currently Senior Independent Director, will be appointed Chairman and Chairman of the Nomination Committee. As a result Margaret Rice-Jones will be appointed Senior Independent Director, and as announced in May, Andrew Herbert will be appointed Chairman of the Audit Committee. These changes are effective from 1 October 2016.
