Wizz Air appoints Wioletta Rosołowska to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Director

– HUNGARY, Budapest – Wizz Air Holdings plc (LSE:WIZZ), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces the appointment of Ms Wioletta Rosołowska to the Board of the Company as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 June 2016.

A Polish national, Wioletta Rosołowska is the country manager for L’Oréal in Poland. Having started her career at Saatchi & Saatchi, Wioletta then moved to Tchibo GmbH, initially as a marketing specialist and then progressing over her 20 year career with the company to become a member of its executive board with particular responsibility for the Central and Eastern Europe region as well as Turkey and Israel.

Wioletta has also had non-executive director experience on the Board of Bank Pekao S.A., part of the Unicredit group and as a member of the bank’s nominations & compensation committee.

Commenting on this appointment, William A. Franke, Chairman said today: “I am delighted that Wioletta has agreed to join the Board of Wizz Air. She will bring to the Board extremely relevant expertise as a result of the extensive Central and Eastern European consumer and marketing experience gained throughout her executive career.
