Windar Photonics appoints Søren Høffer to its Board as Non-Executive Director alongside Johan Blach Petersen as new Chairman

– UK, London – Windar Photonics plc (AIM:WPHO), the technology group that has developed a cost efficient and innovative LIDAR wind sensor for use on electricity generating wind turbines, is announcing that John P. Weston has today stepped down from the position of Chairman of the board and consequently has left the Board of Directors for Windar Photonics PLC.

John P. Weston will be succeeded by the current board member, Johan Blach Petersen, who will take up the position as Interim Chairman of the Board, effective from today.

The Board of Directors is also pleased to announce that Søren Høffer will join the board as a Non-Executive Director from today. Søren Høffer has extensive experience within the wind energy industry market, and currently holds a position as VP of Sales and Marketing within the LM Wind Power Group.
