Wellesley Bancorp appoints Simon Gerlin to the Board of Directors and its Audit Committee

– USA, MA –  Wellesley Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: WEBK), the parent company of Wellesley Bank, today announced the appointment of Simon Gerlin to the Board of Directors of the Company and the Bank.

Mr. Gerlin will also join the Audit Committee of the Company and the Bank.

About Simon R. Gerlin

Mr. Gerlin has been CFO and EVP of Finance of MassDevelopment since February 2013. Before MassDevelopment, Mr. Gerlin served in executive finance, compliance, and audit roles at Clean Harbors Environmental Services and spent 16 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Mr. Gerlin is a certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of CPAs. He received a B.A. degree from Middlebury College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
