Upland Resources adds Chris Pitman and Dixon Wong to its Board as Non-Executive Directors

– UK, Ashbourne –  Upland Resources Limited (LON: UPL), the oil and gas company actively building a portfolio of attractive upstream assets, today announced that Christopher Pitman and Dixon Wong were appointed as additional non-executive Directors of the Company on Tuesday 3 September 2019.

About Christopher Pitman

Mr Pitman brings over 35 years’ international upstream oil & gas experience, including time with Schlumberger Geoquest Inc., Qatar General Petroleum Co. and Petroleum Geo-Services ASA. This has been spent in a wide range of technical, commercial and senior management roles. Mr Pitman holds a B.Sc in Geology and a PGCE, both from the University of Wales, and an M.Sc in Sedimentology from the University of Reading.

About Dixon Wong

Mr Wong is a director of a number of businesses owned by Tune Group and has been involved in a variety of roles within the organisation including but not limited to, corporate finance, group strategy, driving organisational change and synergies across organisations for the group. Tune Assets Limited, one of Upland’s major shareholders, holding 74,579,604 ordinary shares of no par value in Upland, is part of the Tune Group of companies. Tune Group holds major or controlling stakes in companies including AirAsia, Queens Park Rangers FC and Caterham Cars Ltd. Mr Wong has previously worked for HSBC Bank Malaysia and the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi. Mr Wong holds a BCom, Accounting and Finance from the University of Queensland, Australia and a Master of Business degree from the Queensland University of Technology.
