Throughout his 25-plus-year career, Gupta has guided the strategic direction and initiatives for several high-growth technology companies, ranging from chip design to application software, such as PeopleSoft, WebMD and IBM. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Aryaka Networks and also sits on the board of directors of Progress Software (NASDAQ:PRGS), FusionOps, Unmetric, Simplilearn, and Uniken, Inc. In 2000, Gupta received the prestigious Computerworld Smithsonian “Search for the Heroes” Award for his outstanding achievements in the application of information technology to the benefit of society.
