Tremor Video appoints Board Member Paul Caine as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors

– USA, NY – Tremor Video, Inc. (NYSE:TRMR), a provider of software for video ad effectiveness, today announced that Paul Caine has been appointed to the newly created role of Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Caine has served on Tremor Video’s Board as an independent director and member of its audit committee since June 2014.

Mr. Caine is a seasoned media and advertising executive with a wealth of experience developing strategies across platforms. As Non-Executive Chairman, he will serve as a key advisor to Bill Day, Tremor Video’s CEO, and the executive team.

“For the last two years, Paul has lent his extraordinary experience to helping shape Tremor Video as a video software provider for both buyers and sellers,” said Bill Day, CEO of Tremor Video. “Our industry continues to evolve rapidly and his expertise, having been on both the advertising and publishing sides of our business, makes him an invaluable asset to Tremor Video. I look forward to partnering with him even more closely in this new role.”

“I’ve seen many changes in the media industry, but the current state of online video, and its convergence with traditional TV, is by far the most exciting change I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of,” said Mr. Caine. “Having served on the Board for more than two years, I’m excited to take on a larger role as the company continues to build on its leadership position in the marketplace.”

Mr. Caine was most recently Global Chief Revenue and Client Partnerships Officer of Bloomberg Media Group, Bloomberg L.P.’s global multi-platform media organization that comprises web, mobile, television, digital video, radio, print magazines and live events platforms. In his role, Caine oversaw the global sales, marketing and ad operations teams.

Before working at Bloomberg, Mr. Caine was CEO of Westwood One, the largest independent national audio media company in North America. Prior to venturing into audio media, he served as EVP, Chief Revenue Officer and Group President of Time Inc. where he oversaw the company’s multi-media advertising sales and marketing efforts. Caine’s responsibilities also included oversight of Time Inc. Branded Solutions, Research and Insights, Time Inc. Content Solutions, MNI, and Targeted Media. From 2007 to 2011, he served on the board of directors of Nexcen Brands, Inc., a strategic brand management company with a focus on retail franchising, where he served as a member of its audit and governance committees.
