Ticketbud appoints Ray Frigo to its Board of Directors as incoming CEO along with Bertrand Sosa joining as new Board Member

– USA, TX – Ticketbud, a leader in online ticketing and event management, today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Ray Frigo as its Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Frigo, 52, has extensive knowledge in retail and tech industries as well as being a C-Level Executive. Before being named as CEO, he served as an advisor to the event registration software and ticketing company. Bertrand Sosa, 40, co-founder of NetSpend, has also joined Ticketbud as a board member. Frigo joins a team which includes Brandon Harris, Founding Engineer and Chief Technical Officer, and Chairman of the Board John Hogg.

“Ray Frigo is a fantastic addition to our talented Ticketbud team,” said John Hogg, who is stepping down as interim CEO but will remain as Chairman of the Board. “It’s an honor to have him as our next CEO. I know that he’s the right person for the job and has a lot of relevant experience in not only growing businesses but in being a strong international leader. We look forward to embarking on this new journey.”

“I’m very excited to be joining Ticketbud,” said Ray Frigo, CEO of Ticketbud. “I have had the opportunity to work with both the Board and members of the Ticketbud team these past several months and saw a broad range of opportunities to grow this business, which we now plan on realizing. I’m delighted to be working with such a strong group of people.”

Prior to working Ticketbud, Ray was Chief Operating Officer of Bluestem Brands, an internet-based retailer with global operations. During Ray’s tenure with Bluestem, he helped organically grow the company from $400 million to more than $800 million in annual sales. Previous experience includes senior executive positions at Capital One and Compaq Computer, as well as consulting and a technology startup.

Bertrand Sosa brings significant leadership experience in transactional, global businesses to Ticketbud, having co-founded NetSpend, a transformative startup in the financial services industry that was subsequently sold to TSYS.
