Ms. Mathews, former CMO of Microsoft, brings extensive marketing, brand and leadership experience to the Board, while Ms. Benton, Partner at consumer-focused private equity fund Breakwater, will lend operational expertise developed as COO of several successful startups as well as 4 years of floral experience as EVP of Operations at Teleflora.
The company also tripled the team in under 5 months. Key hires include Christine Elfalan, who most recently served as Director of Product at eHarmony, and marketer Christie Kim, who joins the team from Hautelook. David Plafchan, formerly of Deutsch LA, joins to lead the Creative department, while early employee Leonard Lin rounds out the leadership team in Tech & Operations.
