Ten Entertainment Group appoints Adam Bellamy to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Bedford – Ten Entertainment Group plc (LON:TEG), one of the UK’s leading family entertainment companies, today announces that Adam Bellamy will join the TEG Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 November 2018. Adam will serve as Chair of the Audit Committee.

About Adam Bellamy

Adam has considerable consumer experience encompassing multi-site and growth businesses which the Company will be able to draw upon as it continues its strategy of organic growth and the selective acquisitions of underinvested sites. He is currently a Non-Executive Director at PureGym, where he also previously served as CFO for six years up to 2018 during which time the business rapidly grew from a 30-site operation to become the UK’s largest low-cost gym operator with 220 sites, culminating in the sale to Leonard Green which valued Pure Gym at over £600m.

Prior to joining PureGym, Adam spent three years as the FD at Atmosphere Bars and Clubs and a further three years as FD of Conran Restaurants/D&D London Limited. A qualified chartered certified accountant, Adam began his career in 1988 and has served in a variety of finance positions at companies including House of Fraser, Granada Group and Whitbread.
