– USA, NY – Structure Tone, a leading full-service construction services provider in the US, UK, Ireland and Asia, announced today the appointment of Christopher D. Barbee, a PricewaterhouseCoopers’ veteran, to its Board of Directors. The addition of Mr. Barbee brings the number of independent outside directors seated on the organization’s ten-member Board to four. In his new role, he will serve as the chair of the Board’s Audit, Finance & Risk committee, overseeing the direction of the organization and monitoring its compliance efforts.

His extensive background in forensic audit, compliance and finance coupled with his international and construction industry experience will be invaluable to our focus on transparency and managing risk for both our clients and our own business,” stated James Donaghy, Executive Chairman, Structure Tone.
Mr. Barbee recently retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC following a 38 year career with the Big Four public accounting firm. Most recently, he led PwC’s Global Forensic Services Practice from 2009 to 2014 after serving as the Advisory Partner in the Forensic practice from 1995. Chris worked his way up in the organization from Staff Accountant to Senior Manager and after making Partner in 1987, he was active in the Assurance Practice. Chris also has significant international experience as a result of various international projects and two multi-year European assignments with PwC. As a Certified Public Accountant, Chris has extensive experience advising Boards of Directors, Audit Committees and Special Focus Committees.
Chris is also a guest lecturer on the topic of securities litigation and forensic accounting at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and at the University of Missouri. A magna cum laude graduate of The University of Missouri, College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, he resides with his family in Media, PA.
