– UK, London – Starvest PLC (AIM:SVE), the London Stock Exchange AIM listed specialist mining and resources investment business, announces the resignation on 8 May 2018 of John Watkins who has been a Non-Executive Director since July 2017 and previously held the position of Finance Director for over 15 years with Starvest plc. “We are grateful to John for his long-standing service to the Company. His advice, loyalty and commitment over the years have been invaluable and we wish him well in his future endeavours.”
The company also announced the appointment of Anthony Scutt to the position of Non-Executive Director of Starvest with immediate effect. Anthony has previously held the position of Non-Executive Director with Starvest. He is a qualified Chartered Secretary and a Certified Internal Auditor with the US Institute of Internal Auditors. Anthony has over 30 years of financial management experience and has worked in many parts of the world including Asia and Africa and latterly as the Chief Internal Auditor of Shell UK. He is also former Chairman of Oracle Power (LON:ORCP) where he currently serves as a Non-Executive Director.
